Erika is an RYT-500, E-RYT 200 and extremely passionate, fun-loving teacher, which is revealed the moment you meet her. Her smile welcomes you into the room and it is soon accompanied by her warm personality. She is a multifaceted teacher with knowledge ranging from inversions to Vinyasa Flow, from Prenatal to Yin. The foundation of her teaching is threefold: stilling the mind (chitta vritti), connecting breath with movement and cultivating love, gratitude, and self-awareness.
Erika attended her first yoga class in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the practice. Battling depression for many years, yoga introduced Erika to a means for a happier and healthier life. Before long, Erika knew that others could experience the same benefits she had gained from yoga. In 2017, she traveled to Bali and received her 200-hour yoga certification. Erika began teaching immediately after being certified and soon after, the urge to continue her studies ensued!
In 2018, she received her Y12SR (Yoga 12 Step Recovery) certification with Nikki Meyers; a program that fuses recovery meetings and yoga. She also received her prenatal yoga certification and her 20-hour Yin Yoga certification.
Erika completed her 300-hour teacher training with the founder of Soul Space Yoga & Wellness, Marie Mathieson in November of 2018. She continues to seek new opportunities to learn and grow, to better assist her students, her fellow teachers, and the community.

Founding Soulga in 2016, Amanda has become the teacher she is today by studying multiple movement techniques and immersing herself in the 8 limbs of Yoga. Raised as a dancer and gymnast it was natural to pursue practicing and teaching Yoga.
Yoga helped her recover from an eight-year battle with an Eating Disorder and showed her how to befriend and love her body as opposed to destructing it. After receiving her 200 Hour Yoga Certification Amanda started to explore other fields such as SUP Yoga, Pilates (600 Hour Comprehensive Certified) and most recently Martial Arts.
Amanda’s goal is to empower one person at a time to engage mind, body, and spirit in class and beyond.
